Active Learning collaborates with Local Authorities and Schools to re-engage young people in education who are experiencing a variety of challenges including low attendance, mental health conditions, physical health conditions and unmet SEN and vulnerable young people. Our support is applicable to pupils both with or without an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan).
Active Learning offers full-time and part-time education, following the English National Curriculum to children in Year 3 to Year 13, with International GCSEs, A Levels and International A Levels offered as qualifications.
Our approach is based on creating a unique learning experience that is tailored to each individual child. This includes personalised instruction and support, which helps children develop their educational skills in a safe and supportive environment. Active Learning’s approach is specially designed for boys and girls, young adults and families, with a range of needs including: - Full-time education - Part-time or evening classes - Private or public schools - SEN provision - Special needs
Active Learning is a program that helps children learn from and pass on healthy habits. The program works with different timetables so that each child can have the best learning experience. EAL support is also available to make the program more flexible.
Learning takes place in the community at assigned locations and online blended platform, where all classes are recorded for safeguarding, catch up and revision purposes. Academic progress and attendance is recorded and reported to the relevant parties. Counselling, Extra-Curricular, School Community and Transition support is available to each pupil.
